WQ59B
There was a Star Motor Car Co of Ann Arbor MI in '13-14, unrelated to Durant's Star. This Star built 2 chassis-only trucks (tho of course bodies could've been added later)- a 3/4-ton and 1-ton, both with gas engines & dual chain drive, wheelbase measured 132".Durant built trucks under the Star nameplate from '22-32. Apparently there were numerous versions over the years. A 6-cyl debuted for '26, used in the Star Six Compound Fleettruck (renamed Rugby for '27). Otherwise the Durant Four 4-cyl was used (36 HP). I believe it's the heavier duty trucks that were named Rugby (1-ton and over). Star built all sorts of bodystyles, including station wagons, flareboards, closed-box roadsters and.... panel deliverys.
