I have a nice 35 but no motor or trans . would like to upgrade it a little with an overdrive, so it can be driven on the hiway...I was thinking of a later six cyl. engine in the 30s or 40s ?... starlightcoupe Posted June 16, 2005 Share Posted June 16, 2005 1932, 1933 Rockne 10 (or model 65) engine was used in 34 and later Studebakers, referred to as the Commander six with increasing displacement until 1950 in cars and 1961 in trucks.
