old buicks
Looking for a fuel pump and also a carburetor for a 29 Stude Commander 6 engine. The previous owners put on something that would work and closed off the pump hole on the engine and installed an electric pump. aa4us
Tom, I also have a 1929-30 Commander 6 (Roadster) with the wrong fuel pump. I have located the proper carb - UX2. The present pump is mounted on the engine and workd OK but it is the wrong AC pump. If you find a source for more than one let me know. If I find more than one I'll let you know!Gene Densmore Tallahassee FL 850-893-4567 Email: aa4us@arrl.net
carbking
Try the "Antique Auto Parts Cellar" in South Weymouth MA for fuel pumps.Be EXTREMELY careful with UX-2 carbs. There are no useable original zinc alloy UX-2's left in our solar system. These have been reproduced (in Australia). The Dodge Brothers club is importing them.Jon. 29jester
When telling them what you need remember whether it is 45 degree out put or 90 degree. Mine was 90 degree and I told him 45 degree.
