kleino
I am so glad to have this forum to answer questions I have. Is there a difference in fixing 1991 Reatta fender and door (handle and glass ok on previoous door) with new parts in comparison to parts from body shop that located good quality parts when repainting? padgett
Mixed emotions. A new panel or door *if OEM* is better but for mine I am replacing my door with an "experienced" one because neither the glass nor the door handle is still available and IMNSHO a straight original is better than pulling out the dent in mine.Nothing wrong with "experienced" so long as there is no rust anywhere (is possible to find rustfree parts in some states or if always garaged) and it can make the job easier if it is already the same color. Reatta Man
With a Reatta, you are lucky if you have choices. If the shop has found good quality used parts, have them get the parts before the price goes up!Joe
