Shawn Miller
is there a way to clean water spots out of old fabric interiors? The original material is so nice on this car it would alomost be a shame to replace it but it has water stains everywhere.any ideas?
Dave Mitchell
I have had good success on original interiors using gentle soap and water evenly on the whole thing, after vacuming it first. I then vacume it to get the excess water out and let it dry before putting the interior back in the car. If the fabric is in good shape I have also used the upholstery attachment on my Hoover carpet cleaner. You can test various stronger cleaners on some fabric that doesn't show. Sometimes you can use the carpet/upholstery cleaners in aerosol cans on stubborn stains. Sometimes you won't get all the stains, but at least you can give the interior a nice clean smell.
