bonehead
I am new to this forum and find it very helpful and packed with great info. I have just purchased a 1966 Cutlass Vista Cruiser Custom, 330, auto, ac, ps, pb. 57,000 orig miles, white/red int. I have never seen another 66 or 67 Vista at any car show. Are these things rare or did they all end up in the junk yard? How many did they make? Does anyone have a link to a list of production figures? This car is a gem and I will be driving it every chance I get. thanks

bonehead
I have a few questions. What do you mean by 2S and 4S? Mine is a 6 passenger. It has the 330 4 barrel. Where did you source that info, is there a resource on web that I can link to? I attach some pics when I get my camera back from my brother. thanks
Guest imported_starfire
He meant 2S and 3S for 2 seat (6 passenger) and 3 seat (9 passenger). He probably got his info from the appendix of the book "Setting the Pace" by Jim Walkinshaw and Helen Earley.

Guest Dave Wyatt
OK, now tell the truth, these pics were taken in 1966 when the car was new weren't they? WOW what a beautiful car, it does look good. You need to go to Hell with the rest of the Vista group in June. Hell Michigan that is. Same week end as the Homecoming show in Lansing.
bonehead
Ha HA, No, the pics are not from 1966. I was very lucky to find the car. I had been looking for a 60's wagon for the last six months and I just stumbled across this one last weekend. The car is the classic "old lady garage car" Its a real time capsle. It has the load leveler option, does anyone know how this works? There is some kind of gizzmo in front of the differential that is connected to some hydraulic shocks than look like air shocks. I never saw this before. Thanks in advance for any info.
seasand77
The figures came from The Encyclopedia of American Cars by The Auto Editors of Consumer Guide, purchased from Barnes and Noble. We use it for these kinds of questions at our dearlership.2s=2 seat, 3s=3 seat.
