FWB
I have a White 1990 TC with V6. Last fall when I would push it hard from stop the tranny would fail to shift out of low, but I would stop and put in reverse move a little then go forward easy and it would shift normal. Does anyone have a answer to this problem. I just purchased the car last May and it had the tranny rebuilt before I purchased it.
TCParts
If the transmission was a remanufactured MOPAR unit (which I always recommend because of advise that one of the engineers gave at one of the TC America national meets) it should still be under the factory 3 year 36,000 mile warranty, as it is transferable to the next owner. It could be the clutch pack, controller or a number of different internal issues. Larry
Guest imported_sharpshoe
Hi before you go through the big expense of a transmission get a gallon of mopar 7176 transmission fluid and a new filter. A lot of transmission shops use dextron 3 fluid instead of the mopar fluid. go to allpar.com for more transmission help
