As for the "Starfire" designation on the 98, all 98 drop-tops appear to have been "Starfires" in '56. And...the 98 cost almost 25% more than the S-88. Presumably, interior fittings would also have been more opulent on the 98. The engines in each series were basically the same, so the 88 sure sounds like the better buy, eh?
