It has a GM dash plate that states it was custom built for an individual, a local bank president in the early 60's. I have the original purchase order for the car and this seems to be correct. Guest bkazmer Posted January 26, 2005 Share Posted January 26, 2005 I had a '67 Wildcat with such a plaque, but I knew the history from new, and the original owner bought it off the dealer's show room floor. Philippe Racicot Posted February 8, 2005 Share Posted February 8, 2005 Here is a picture of mine and the 1967 Canadian Protect-O-Plate. (see attachment). Note that the Protect-O-Plate is made of plastic and it has the shape of a credit card. The US Protect-O-Plate is made of two metal plates, with reversed letters and numbers.
