ALF1
Anyone notice? About 10 or 12, from "never titled" at $30K, to under $10K. Also some cryptic comments about one of 'em maybe being a trade school veteran. -- ALF
Guest F14CRAZY
What would a trade school do with a Reatta? Dissect it? Doesn't seem like a good vehicle to dissect

Had to do with unacceptable cowl shake, etc. Schools could use them for automotive repair training, etc., but couldn't sell or register 'em. Some, apparently, have found their way into private hands. -- ALFTo wit, an AutoTrader ad:1991 Used Buick Reatta Convertible 51,764Mileage $14,500Price 2255 mifrom ZIP More Photos Color - BlackThis 91 REATTA CONV. is one of 305 made. 45 went to trade schools, never to be titled. Guest mgibson
Alf---I believe this car is the same one that sold on eBay 3-4 months back for around $12,000. With the black wheels, it is easy to remember.
padgett
Well the ad didn't say *that* one went to a trade school...The legend was that Buick had a vibration/cowl shake problem and performed triage on the 91 converts - good ones were sold normally, not so good ones were sold to employees, and then there were the ones given to trade schools.
