migmatic
Hello, new here and I thought I might ask this question as it might relate to other Dodge manufactured engines of the period. Also it seems to be a question that eludes alot of the military Dodge truck restorers.I have a 1945 WC52 and the "Straight 6" engines appear to have been painted at the factory in a what has been described as "Smoke White" or "Dove Grey".My questions are; Does anyone know what this color was called and is there a paint code? Was it used in civilian applications as well?Is there a good current paint match for this paint or paint chips available to see what this color actually looked like? Thanks, Peter
