jdn
I am a proud new owner of a 1937 zephyr 4 dr sedan. I have been reading items on the forum and learning what others have to say about the lincoln's. I will be doing a restore of my car and expect I will have a lot of questions later as I get to work. Thank you in advance for the type of help you give each other as I am sure I will need a good bit of help.
AceCollins
Welcome aboard. What part of Texas are you in?

AceCollins
I have a 37 4 Door I am restoring in Hillsboro. By the way, my wife's twin sister is the assistant superintendent at HEB ISD. Welcome to the board and if I can be any help, let me know. My V12 was rebuilt by folks right here in Hillsboro. They also rebuilt and installed my Columbia unit. What kind of condition is your car in?
jdn
It is in fairly good condition. Engine runs good and smooth, leaks a little oil, body is mostly straight without rust, need new interior. I will attach a picture it.
AceCollins
Mine looks pretty much the same. So, we are probably in the same boat and will working on things about the same time. My goal is not a show car, but a very nice driver.
Rolf
Ok you '37 guys, are those chrome eyebrows on the headlights of the red car a LZ accesory, or after-market?? They sure give the car a whole other distinctive look I think, Rolf
AceCollins
I would have to say aftermarket. I have seen them on Fords of that era. In fact, I have seen several 37 Fords with the "Eyebrows."
jdn
Ace could you reply to my email at jdnorris811@comcast.net. I would like to see if we can get together and talk restoring 37's. Thanks John
JWalker
I think I recognize your car. You bought it through the Cadillac dealership. Oddly enough, Ace's 1937 came from the same town, same color, same seller's initials too, J.G. Hmmmmmmmm....
