RatReatta
what did everyone decide was best to use for fogs? one of the bulbs went out and before i replace them i want to know what i should use, i would prefer brighter bulbs if possible
bwarren
This is what I came up with. I don?t remember the size designation but it?s the size used on some of the older Camaros and Chevy pickups. I used the low beam. I had to use a dremel and make some modification to the housing and the front bezel. The lamp is sandwiched between the bezel and housing all held together by ?House hold Goop?. Has lasted 2 years and all is solid. It will be a real effort to get them apart when needed. They are bright enough so if I want to, I can drive without the use of the regular head lights. padgett
I would monitor the housings for overheating, with 37.5w bulb (stock is 27 w) on bench the lens surface exceeded 200F after about 10 minutes.Stock low beams can be 35 or 45 w, high output are generally 55w.
