75 LeSabre Custom (Alex Clark)
My '75 LeSabre is sky blue. The car I think was originaly true blue, but the owner before me (original owner) says its always been sky blue. But I found several spots where the true blue paint is showing up. How can I found out the original color of the car?
rocketraider
Look on the data plate underhood and you'll see a PNT code. Some years it's a number, some a letter. There are numbers for both lower body, and upper body or vinyl/convertible roof color.Think there were three blues that year- the solid sky blue, metallic medium blue, and metallic dark blue. 75 LeSabre Custom (Alex Clark)
Thanks Glenn, the plate reads as follows;ST 75 4BP67 X 152820BDYTR 92W A65 24L 11R PNTIs the 11R the paint code? Also where can I find the explanation for the code?

I know a fellow with a LeSabre Luxus (74?) project. Neat cars.
