A by the sea
I got a pile of stuff, mostly A, and I also got a Guide spotlamp. It is the kind that mounts on the windshield post. I believe it is pre-war since it is not sealed beam and has a cover on the light bulb that says "Guide". The plate that screws to the windshield post is marked 5936475 and LH. I am guessing it is for a GM product based on the part number. I have included a picture. Thanks,Kevin
Guest
It could be as late as 1947. The first use of sealed beam bulbs in spotlights was in 1948.hvs
