Filobedo
Finally got into the Display Diagnostics. Pressed "Off & Warm" for what seemed to be an eternity. This is what I got: History B446 & B552. No ECM or CRT Codes. I also noticed that the inverted triangle "Pointer" over 'OXY' was lit. Does that mean that the 02 Sensor is my problem? Also displayed '0.40 TPS ED01'. Thanks for any and all help. Am at my wits end
Guest Greg Ross
The B446 indicates A.C. Low Refrigerant Pressure, the B552 shows up to indicate the BCM long term memory has been reset-disconect the Battery will do this. When ECM shows up on the screen, press No, when BCM appears press Yes. BCM Data-No, BCM inputs-No, Outputs-No, BCM Override-No, BCM Clear Codes-Press Yes.Do the same thing under ECM, or IPC. Now press Level and it will shift from Phase to Phase. When it displays ECM again, press Yes, ECM Data-Yes, the graphics that are displayed shows TCC Lock-up, O2 Sensor function (that is what you have seen) Closed Loop, etc. Keep pressing Yes and it will run through all the Inputs for the ECM.Get yourself a Service Manual. padgett
O2 will be steady when engine is not running & until the O2 sensor warms up. Should start flashing a minute or two after a cold start.
Filobedo
I think moving the Spark Plug Wire away from the 02 Sensor & Wire has solved the Shuddering and Starting problem. I Hope! Thanks everybody for your help
