Depley Posted March 13, 2004 Share Posted March 13, 2004 Here is what I know.I have a short somewhere.My thinking is its in the heating system. Why? becasue when you have the car off and look at the climate control panel on the screen the fan is shown to be still moving, but I can not hear the fan at any speed, but still as you change or even turn off the controls the scren shows the fan moving. After entering it pops up ECM then after that appears to "history" items which are B552 and C553anyone know what those mean?never mind I figured that out, I have unhooked the battery :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

padgett Posted March 14, 2004 Share Posted March 14, 2004 No it is an easy one though if replacing and not just removing the connectors it helps to remove the electrical connector from the pressure switch just above. Remember to remove the plastic clips (if there) before pulling the connectors. See "ECC Power Module, page 1B1-7 fig 9 #1 in 89 manual (online).That is if it is your car.
