I guess if you do a lot of full throttle passes it can start to slip. It won't hurt anything to use the 350, and it is upgradeable. Just don't be heartbroken if it gernades. GSMAG Posted October 10, 2001 Share Posted October 10, 2001 Converter and flexplate chould be fine. You won't need to change anything. I ran a TH350 behind a 455 for 2 years and I ran it very hard. It held up well, but would start to slip after several runs. Get a front mounted tranny cooler and put a shift kit in it. It should last for a while. Upgrade to a 400 if it dies. Good luck!
