BTW, 394 and 455 are two very different engines. About the only thing they have in common are timing chains and oil pumps, and then only certain years. imported_Badger Guy Posted October 15, 2003 Share Posted October 15, 2003 You have to take the numbers from just above the water pump on the flat spot. 455s have a casting no. 396021/F or FA.
