Guest imported_PackardV8
i'm a little confused. Is the 'Starliner' article independent of the 1965 V12 article??? Could this be a ploy to turn everyones attention away from the 1965 V12 fairy tale by developing another possible fairy tale???? Has anything been done about the V12 article on the Packard side of this equation?? Diversions. Diversions.
Guest
Packard V8: Let me asure that there probably has been nothing done on the Packard side of the equation. The one thing that I will say at this time is that I haven't forgetten about this matter. When I am done obtaining some information and doing some research, something interesting might happen. That is all that I will say for now.
Guest imported_PackardV8
The main thing is to beware of any diversion attempts to subvert this issue. So many such atempts have been tried already. Thats why i keep posting to the threads related to the 1965 V12 hoax so that they remain current and in plain view to us as well as newcommers. Blessed are the peace makers????? As anyone mite guess my blessings have been few and far between.
55PackardGuy
PackardV8,Wanted to get one of your favorite threads back at the top. Regarding your shortage of blessings, remember: no good deed goes unpunished. Thanks for your support of my post regarding the Buick lifter response. You're right that no slam was intended, I was TRYING to be FUNNY (and maybe do a good deed?) But, as you suggest, peacemaking can be its own reward. I'm glad it turned out on a positive note. 55PackardGuy
RO,That is REALLY COOL! I'm impressed with your sleuthing. Something should be done to follow up on this, but I'm not sure what... other than buying the thing. I suppose everybody is as cash poor as I am at this season. RO
50 a faded memory. Will be "interesting" to see how much the '65-'66 model goes for. Have never seen this before. FYI, if you click on the guy's other auctions, there's also a Dusenberg, et. al. ~ '66. The 60s would have been out of my model building timeframe.
