Guest
I am currently deployed on active duty to make the world safe [color:"black"] and all that jazz. I have a chance to buy some 6 volt lamps but don't have the lamp numbers for all of the bulbs in the car. Can someone help? Thanks!

hwellens
There were 2 kinds of filters used in 1938. A throwaway that was PB1/2 or a replaceable cartridge Fram C-4. They are still available. The PB1/2 is about $20. The C-4 about $5. As far as light sockets you will have to look around in flea markets. Try to find an old used reflector that has the socket in it. They used Riteway lens and reflectors. The reflector name is in small print on the outside edge.
Guest
That seems cheap. I suppose that is just for the cannister element. I hope to find the "can" and fittings. "The whole shootin' match" as Dad used to say.
