Charlie B.
That "chrome trim" looks like lakes pipes to me.And a louvred hood, Now that looks great,(but expensive)

It looked really sharp in person.I never got to talk to the owner. I believe their plate showed they were from Illinois.
Rawja
That car was features in the Buick Bugle in the not too distant past. Looked really nice in there, I remember especially liking the yellow accents within the engine compartment.
FlyByNite
The graphics on the yellow coupe look a lot like the graphics that came on my wife's MR2, might be able to have a Toyota dealer order them in for you.
Guest
FBN,Great Photos. Seeing those gives you a feeling of support. There are a bunch of people that enjoy a common interest. I don't feel too far out there in "left field" for really enjoying this car. Thanks for such a wonderful recap of the national event. Also was interesting to see where Buick is headed.Steve
FlyByNite
I didn't take a picture one, I wasn't even there, the kudos go to EDBSO, tempest68, and Flash. All I did was put them where a lot of people could look at them.
fire2721
I'm very happy to see the interest in the yellow reatta. I'm currently giving my '91 a total custom job. First has been the stereo which is set up for competition. Chrome Niche wheels get me from here to there. A red neon for the trunk and red led lights on the interior make me glow. Undercar led lights are being worked on. This next year I will be giving the car new paint. The original red base with bronze pearl overcoat from front to back. And white pearl ghost tribal designs on the hood and trunk lid. The interior will be changed from original tan to a medium grey. I'll soon have some pics of the stereo/amp/subwoofer installation. Any additional ideas and support would be great. I would hate to change a Reatta too much if no one likes it.
Guest tempest68
fire2721,First let me say "welcome to the forum". You'll find alot of good information here.I think the interest in the Yellow car is because it is so different from the norm. Alot of Reattas are still in very good condition, and their owners try their darndest to keep them that way. I enjoy a perfect Reatta as much as the next person. Now I dont speak for everyone when I say this next part...But I also dont mind seeing a nicely done, well thought-out customized Reatta either. Some people are purest and think its sacrilige to customize one. My opinion is that if the car is not even close to perfect and would take too much time/money to properly restore it, then customization is the way to go.Good luck with whatever you do with it, and dont forget to post pictures along the way. Do whatever you want. The grey interior is very nice in a red car. It is different. Not ultra rare, just different.Regarding the customizing touches, this year's judging included 2 customs....GM Ross's supercharged 5 spd and the BMBLBEE.Regarding the photo site...kudos to FlyByNite. Very nice work.
