1950 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 - $27,000 NOW $23,000

Looks like a very nice car. I wonder what the seller paid for in at Mecum.

Another problem it has now, is that it's a very long way from anywhere to go look at it.

Here is my 1950 Oldsmobile Rocket 88, I bought it from a collector on a Mecum auction over 3 yrs ago. It is in great shape. I bought a new wiring harness and had my mechanic install it at a cost of over 5K from headlights to taillights as the old wiring was frail. I also put on new Coker radial white wall tires. The car runs strong, it's very reliable and always starts right up. The transmission shifts as it should, the body is tight. I have all receipts from previous owner and work that I have done, the only reason I'm selling it is I tore my right rotator cup and it is to hard to drive it with no power steering, my loss your gain, come drive it and you'll buy it. Feel free to call if you have any questions or for more information. call Joe 775-720-2969

Don't like the wire wheels, but nice otherwise. I think the price is a bit ambitious.

The wire wheels appear to me to be spoke wheel covers from a later model Olds. I think they were available around 1953. Easy to change to full wheel covers or dog dishes.

Here is my 1950 Oldsmobile Rocket 88, I bought this car three years ago from Mecum auction in Indiana, the man who owned it was a Oldsmobile collector, the Olds runs strong and transmission shifts as it should, I just put a new wiring harness in from headlights to tailights at a cost of 4800.00 and also put a set of Coker radial tires on it, the reason I'm selling it I tore my right rotater cup and it to hard to drive it as it doesn't have power steering, the interior is in good shape looks to have the original seat cover from the factory under the exsisting it should be the same as door panels, I don't need help selling , come drive it and you'll buy it.
