keyless entry

The keyless entry on my 89 reatta no longer works. We have changed the battery and don't know what else to do.

I try not to get involved in diagnosing problems without seeing a persons car but it sounds like the receiver unit may be bad. I have several Reatta parts cars and I have sold several of these in the past. If you determine that is the problem I do have a good used reciever for the keyless entry. I found one in a local "Junk yard"

It came from a 1992 Eldorado.

Mine also says Cadillac on it and works quite well.

You might try ebay under Cadillac remote control. Look for the following:

FCC ID AB00702T, p/n 10178734 which I got for $22 including shipping. Good luck.
