nat
I spotted a Dodge frame with front bumper when friend recently showed me where his family laid their cars to rest. The bolts came out using only a 10" adjustable, a 3/4" box wrench and some leverage. About 50 years ago, Johnny Monroe told me that bolts would always unscrew from prewar cars. Is seems that's still the case today. https://damnyankee.com/johnny-monroes-junkyard/ 6

I don't know, but my experience does not match re rusted bolts just coming undone like in the photos. After looking at the opening blip in the book, it says South Dakota, there I could understand. I was truly amazed that those bolts came out without using explosives. So far the only fasteners that haven't unscrewed from my car or carcass were a #8 screw in the carcass vacuum tank and the slotted screws that hold my car's rear spring seats together. I gave up on those when I split the head of one screw with an impact driver.
