1932-1933 Nash rear “underslung” worm drive differential issues and repair solutions- help wanted

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any advice for repairing a brass ring gear differential on a Second Series ’32 or ’33 senior Nash with the worm drive underslung rear diff?   Looking at potentially buying a car with a trashed ring gear.  Does anyone reproduce them?  Is there a “drop in” replacement solution?   Would like to go to a taller ratio at this point if possible.  Can gears from a later car be retrofitted?    Entire rear axle swap?   Any words of wisdom?  Thank you!
