WTB Original Early 1900s Tires for Museum

The Petersen Automotive Museum seeks original early tires for collection and exhibition.

 

Thanks to those who responded to our earlier separate post on this subject. Although our 2023 tire exhibit is complete, we will continue to seek early tires for future iterations and improvements.

 

Of special interest are original (non repro) examples of:

 - any pre-1920 tires

 - original white or grey rubber tires (solid or pneumatic)

 - cell/cushion tires

 - uniquely colored tread or sidewall

 - unique tread

 - anything unusual or interesting and appropriate for long term preservation in a museum collection
