No spark in the plugs. Riviera 1980 V6

Everything around distributor seems connected, but I've noticed that there is no spark in the plugs when turning and most likely positive charge is missing from what I've checked.

 

Electric charge to distributor comes to this connection it seems:

3-pin is connected from the distributor:

There is one extra connection to connect a single pin, but one is missing in the first picture.

From where should the positive charge should come in order to generate spark?

IF this is a normal HEI distributor system, the module (internal to the distributor) is usually the culprit.  If not, then look for the carbon item which connects the coil to the distributor rotor, under the coil, which touches the distributor rotor.

 

The coil should be grounded, either by a wire with bolt eyelets on each end or by a solid metal strap (which attaches to the same places).  Similarly, the ignition module should have the "heat sink grease" under it, or it will overheat and fail sooner than it should.

 

IF you back-track from the spark plug, through the distributor, to the supply voltage source (usually includes the ignition switch on the steering column jacket, not the key cylinder . . . unless it has a chip key for the car), through the bulkhead connector, and to the battery and/or the module which commands the engine to start.
