connecting rod specs

Are the rods from the 249 the same as the 268?  Does anyone have the journal width and diameter, and center to center length specs available or a source to find them?  The AERA connecting rod manual omits most of this info.  Thanks for any info available.  dan...

straight eight connecting rods are different than the straight six, 37-54 straight eight rods 499625, 39-52 straight six rods 502129, 53-54 straight six rods 517270

Thanks so much for the info, it is difficult to find.  Because of your info I have tracked down the 6cyl rods but nothing on the 8cyl rods.  Would anyone know the center to center lengths of the rods, both the 6 and the 8?  dan...

center to center specs are, for the six 7.560, for the eight 7.565

Pontiac1953, thank you so much for that info, I have been looking for it for quite some time.  Would anyone know what the bearing journal and piston pin widths are?  Again, thanks to all for taking the time to give me info.
