B Jake Moran
A cool time capsule but not a $13,500 time capsule. Inflation seems to have come to the project market. This one needs restored or at least refresh. And that's the issue. Paint and body = $10,000 to $15,000. Interior might be serviceable but after fresh paint everything is going to look dated. Chrome.... Could I own and enjoy this car as is? Yes, but at $5,000. And that is when the seller hangs up on you or calls you ridiculous. We probably won't ever know if or at what price this car or most cars like it - sells for. The old "none of your business" when you ask. The one to buy is the older restoration that may have cost the seller $35,000 20 + years ago, they enjoyed and cared for it for 20 years and are now aging out of the hobby (hey, it happens) and are offering it for $15,000. But warn out paint and interior 4 door hardtops from the 1950's should not sell for $13,500. My opinion
