This RARE 1966 Rambler Classic is completely original. Even has her original 287 engine under the hood. Runs & drives! This Rambler has been well taken care of for the length of its life and has a clean title. I bought this car in 2013 and drove it as my daily driver for 2 years before storing it during a military tour overseas. The Rambler has seen road time here and there over the years but isn't getting the love and attention she deserves.
PROS:
• Garage kept for several years
• Original leather interior is 80% intact
• NEW battery - winter 2022
• NEW 2-barrel carburetor installed in 2019
• NEW water pump installed in 2013
• NEW thermostat installed in 2013
• NEW wheel cylinders on front wheels in 2019
• NEW radiator and electric fan installed in 2013. Original radiator fan blade comes with the car.
• Original owner's manual
• Original technical service manual
• Spare sets of indicator lamps
CONS:
• Due to a slack timing chain, I would not drive this over 45 mph, and suggest towing. BUT I'll include NEW-from-factory stock OEM timing chain assembly, distributor cap, points & gaskets.
• Transmission slips in 1st gear due to poor seating on the column. I just never got around to fixing it. Once 2nd is engaged, she's good to go.
