Buick Doctor Posted March 29, 2003 Share Posted March 29, 2003 I am parting out a 72 Electra Limited 4 door hardtop and I have parted out 2 other 72 Electra's, and 1 low mile 72 LeSabre. I have alot of good parts for the big Buicks 1972. I have a good front bumper, grill, headlite bezels, fenders, doors with soft-ray glass, hinges, f & r side marker lights, cornering lights(NOS), p. window/locks switches, motors, regulators, mirrors, some interior stuff, tilt steering column, plastic covers over switches, and controls, right and left, p. seat motors/tracks for both driver and passenger seats 60/40 style. Only half of mine work. Buick Doctor Posted April 1, 2003 Share Posted April 1, 2003 I am going on a parts delivery trip from Vermont to Colorado in 3-4 weeks. I can possibly bring a few large items with me, like a front bumper, RH fender, grill. I would like to know specifically which parts you need. I did sell the good drivers fender off my 72 Limited. I would not bring a hood. That is just too big. I do have hood hinges. I think I have 1 good trunk lid. I parted out multiple cars, and I know where there are a few other big 70's Buicks. I can estimate $150 for front bumper, $75 for center grill with emblem, $100 for RH fender not including inner fender. Plus delivery charge. As far as power window switches or lock switches for Adam, I need to know what type you have. The Electra Limited had switches for power windows and seat in the armrest extension on the door. The Electra 225 non-custom interior cars, got a side mount power window switch on the door panel itself. I think you have the second type in the Centurion. I think I have the switches you are looking for. I have a long side mount squared off rectangular master switch, and similar singles for the passenger front door. I also have the square "lock" switch for the electric locks. I need to know if you need 1 switch or all that your car uses. I do have at least 1 master and at least 1 passenger door p. window switch, and 2 others for the 4 doors, and I have at least 2 lock switches as well. $40 for the master switch, and $25 each for the individual window switch, $30 each for the lock switches.
