buickbrothers
I've got my steering column back in, transmission in, and I'm working on reinstalling the linkage between the two. I'm down to one piece that I can't figure out where/how it mounts. I'll my original pictures were wiped out when my hard drive crashed so I'm still working through many of these things without my references/pic's. Can someone send a pic or tell me where this back plate mounts which connects the long rod to the bottom of the high accumulator? I thought it would be obvious where to mount it based on having the rod attached and looking at the position range under the car. But, it's not obvious. Thanks. old-tank
It attaches to a bracket on the back side of the driver side cylinder head. Best to install after engine and transmission are in the car.
buickbrothers
Wow old-tank. I am so far off it's not funny. I now know exactly were this goes - part of the accelerator linkage, correct, just mounted to take this pic? The trans linkage part is the darker black. Without my pic's, this is incredibly hard. Thanks.
