That is a rare piece,

and I believe it is the first year for a "Wrap-around" windshield.

I believe the 1953 Oldsmobile Fiesta also had the wraparound windshield

The standard series Cadillacs, Buicks, and Oldsmobiles didn't get that style until the following year - 1954,

and 1955 for Chevy, and Pontiac, and I'm not certain, but kind of recall (2nd series ?) 1955 Chevy trucks and Cameo Carrier, and the GMC Suburban Pickup which also offered the Pontiac V-8 and Hydra-matic transmission.
