1937 Studebaker fiber timing gear

A customer of mine bought an aluminum timing gear from a vendor and was told that it fits his Dictator 6 engine.

Did anyone ever try or even found an aluminum gear to replace the 181233 fiber gear?.

Someone told me that the 181233 gear fits the Prewar President engines , so my customer was looking for the wrong timing gear. In anycase did anyone ever hear of an aluminum timing gear for the 1937 Dictator six?

 

The customer called me back and told me that the aluminum gear he received was for a 6cylinder CHAMPION Engine and does not fit his car.
