bgalla
Mike,I had a similar problem with missing trim between the hood & door, I was also missing the compound curved trim strip below the right rear window, ( I have a 39 D-11 Coupe). My solution was to use the trim strip from the running board to fabricate the missing trim strips. I will find something close for the running boards. The compound strip was very carfully heated, curved & polished. The ends were cut oversize so that they could be cut & folded, then silver soldered, shaped & polished, it's hard to see the blended seams. The short strips were much easier. Your strips are straight and should be easy to make if you care to sacrifice the running board trim. Good luck
