41PlymouthCoupe
I have A 41' Plymouth coupe, changed the tank, fuel pump, rebuilt the carb and distributor , new plugs ,wires and coil and I'm having trouble with it. I'm okay at under 25 mile an hour, but after that it starts to hesitate really bad, when I go down the freeway I bring the speed up to about 55mph and it feels like It's about to shut down and then it smooths out for a couple of minutes, I did notice that when I really accelerate to about sixty plus it seems to smooth out. If anyone has ever had this problem and fixed it , I could sure use some pointers. I'm running a flathead Dodge 230 c.i. 6 volt.

LARRYCAROL
Did you replace the rubber hoses at tank and pump. They can collapse internally and still not leak. Usually under load.
