Matt Harwood
Well, I've gutted the interior of the Century, but ran into problems getting the dashboard apart. The shop manual is pretty vague (what else is new?), and I removed a few bolts by feel, but it's still rock solid. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. palbuick
Hi MattIf its anything like my 40, you have to remove the windshield rubber seal along with the glass. I found that the seal holding the glass was glued to the front lip of the dash. If your glass and dash is original the rubber is like a rock. Which means a new rubber seal.Jim Schilf / palbuick@aol.com
Jyrki
My 46 windshield was not too hard to remove, and I was able to save the seal. Yes the dash is screwed onto the cowl under the window seal
