sagefinds
I looked through the Cad and Olds Crestline books where there's lots of beautiful front and side shots, not enough rears to positively ID this pair. I'm guessing they are rears but ..... There is definitely a left and right,One has RR stamped into the inside, the other has LR. Across the bottom they are 4 1/4" wide, overall height 10 1/4". Appreciate any help.
drwatson
They look like what's on this 1951 Nash Ambassador. Rear is similar. Edited January 28, 2022 by drwatson added text. (see edit history)
sagefinds
Wow,that sure looks like it. So with the two holes.there isn't a bar between them but those corner pieces come off the sides. I'm a bit disappointed but an old adage is-A person that has a Nash wants parts just as bad for it as a person with a Duesenberg wants parts for it. Thanks much. Side note,my aunt and uncle farmed 35 miles East of Sturgis So Dakota,Uncle said one day he could drive his '59 Rambler American into town cheaper than calling.
