GR_Skylark
Were the Rally wheels an option for the 1965 Skylark 4 Door Sedans? Just curious - as I am thinking on getting some for my Skylark. I have the factory 'Knock-off' wheel covers but would like to spice up the car with the Rally wheels. Thx
Skylark4367
The 1965 Buick sales brochure depicts the Skylarks with the "Knock-off" wheel covers you mentioned, not with the rally wheels. The brochure mentions some optional equipment, but not the rally wheels, going on to suggest that you check with your Buick dealer for more information. I'm unsure if the rally wheels were available for Skylarks in 1965, but I've seen plenty of 1965 Skylarks with those wheels on them. The rally wheels look good on those cars. I like the "Knock-off" wheel covers. Contact the AACA library regarding your question. They should have more detailed information regarding 1965 Buick optional equipment.
Jerry with a Packard
This was my car in the late 60s. The wheels came with the car when purchased new. The photo is a photo of a photo, hence there is a curve in the image. I'm behind the Buick washing the Charger.
