Special Six starter chain replacement / adjustment

Working again on the 1920 Special Six.  Getting ready to installed the starter and I wanted to replace the chain since it was very loose with regards to adjustment/tension and a little stiff some non-use.  I am finding that this chain is not a current standard size, it is close to a '50' chain, but the roller width is much smaller, in my case, about 0.250".  I did find a Diamond chain "148 X 1/4" to be the correct size, but ordering might be a problem since they appear to serve the industrial marketplace.

 

Does anyone have a source for a replacement chain?  McMaster Carr does not list one either.....

 

I do suppose my current chain would work if I gave it a good cleaning and lube it well, but I still have the issue of it being rather loose, and I don't believe there is a way to tighten it on the car.  You would need some kind of eccentric bolt or pin to provide any movement for adjustment.
