Joe & Ron - A 1933 Plymouth Survivor - Harold LeMay - The Farmer Brothers - Tacoma - Marymount Military Academy - Ending Up Where I Started …

Recommended Posts

Joe is a “ Lurker “ here ….

Joe bought a 1933 Plymouth Survivor in California & his friend Ron contacted me about hauling it.

And that is how I found myself in a little town on The Olympic Peninsula

almost a month to the day just 2.5 miles

away from where I started my West Coast

Hauling Adventure covering a few thousand

miles …. 😏

As the shadows lengthen in the late afternoon - Ron pulled up some chairs and we sat for a spell while Joe reminisced …

About Harold LeMay - The Farmer Brothers

and attending The Marymount Military Academy ( now home to The LeMay Collections ).

And I was able to share another story

from the road …. 😎

I drove the 2.5 mikes over to Job’s place where I had started my month long adventure by dropping off a John Deere

combo machine on June 9th to pay a visit

and drop off a load of pear walnut bread.

I have the best job possible 👍

I lived in Tacoma until I was about 16.

My mom often threatened to send me to the Marymount academy.

That place is a hoot to visit these days.

If you want to get really lucky try and go there the one day a year that they open the home collection.

If they in fact still do that.

Ron said his Dad threatened to send him to Marymount and he tore the page with the number out of the phone book 📕

Joe & Ron would cross to the other side of the street if they saw nuns coming 😬
