MikeL278
Hello all - wondering if you all could help identify the chassis I found half buried in the woods yesterday? Thank you!
8E45E
I'll start with that its a 1948 & earlier Ford with that transverse rear leaf spring. Someone else can narrow down the year. Craig
dustycrusty
That worm-drive rear axle is from a 1917-1927 Ford Model TT 1 ton truck, or an early Model AA (1928) truck. The frame is also TT with the front crossmember and a few other bit and bobs removed or modified, but the inverted front axle looks to be from either a non-ford (due to the lateral spring mounts) or a 1949 thru mid 1960's Ford truck part, semi-rigidly attached with angle-iron radius rods and-- barbed wire ?????.
