New Old Stock Auto-lite ignition coil CE-3224JS  fits most of the Chrysler 6s and 8s from 1935-1942. 

 

Also fits Cord

1936 810

1937 812

1937 812 Supercharged

 

Plus a few Nash models '41 -'47 

And a smatering of Hudsons 1935 -1947 and a couple of Hupmobiles 1936 -39

 

And Studebaker '41-42

This type coil had one exposed terminal in the front and one at the rear covered by an end cap that is connected usually to an armored cable to the key ignition lock.

 

Note:the rubber boot is stiff now.
