Rock10
Are there any instructions on adjusting the float? I would assume you bend the tab on the back where it contacts the needle valve but that looks like fairly heavy brass. Don't want to break anything. carbking
The best way to adjust the float on many older carburetors is to change the thickness of the fuel valve seat gasket. This method will work well on the Stromberg. Jon

carbking
There are other causes of flooding besides float adjustment. What is your fuel pressure? What type of fuel valve are you using? Has the float been tested? Jon.
Rock10
We assume standard fuel pump and pressure. The needle valve seats in the fuel inlet. Float tested? What should the fuel pressure be? Edited May 15, 2021 by Rock10 (see edit history)
