reattadudes
am having a problem with the light in the front turn signal position of the front turn signal assembly not coming on with the parking lights. all other front lights glow, except for the corner where the turn signal light is. pulled the bulbs, and they are of the high-intensity type, and are not dual filament. this is a problem on both the left and right front sides, and the turn signals both work when activated. any suggestions? Barney Eaton
The same halogen bulb is used for the turn and parking. When on park, the 12V goes through a resistor to keep it from being bright. When you turn on the trun signal, the relay switches to a full 12v.Check manual page 8A-110-10 and you will see the front park/turn resistor in the middle of the page. I says the resistor is located in front of the radiator to the drivers side (see 8A- 201-A)If the turn signals work properly, then the resistor is damaged, or missing.
