FOR SALE: 1936 Dodge D2
4 door Black sedan, 218 L6, 23” engine
Title in my hands
Some spots need painting (top needs paint, was stripped and undercoated)
Not much rust, but does need work
“Build Card” available
Fuel tank Professionally redone
Rebuilt Wheel Cylinders
Rebuilt Brake Master Cylinder
6V alternator
All oils changed
All rubber door/window seals re-done
New window channels and “Bat Wings”
NOS Fuel pump
NOS Thermostat
Front cabin toe board rebuilt, some of the floor board under the front seat needs patching.
The mice got to the some of the headliner and possibly the wiring
May also need a new coil
Needs better wiring anyway
No Leaks detected.
It includes: 4 Coker tires and wheels, the front crank cover ($1,000 value), the Ram Hood Ornament ($250-300 value), front seat, and some tie rods.
I sand blasted the underside while the gas tank was being redone, then painted all of the blasted metal with POR 15.
It might be a great idea to do the brake plumbing over because the counter guy gave me 3/8” instead of ¼” tubing and I didn’t realize it until it was all done.
This car is a solid vehicle, but still needs work to get on the road. I had to stop rebuilding it due to time restraints. It’s been idol for 9 years. The engine ran like a top. Then it stopped running because the electricity wasn’t getting to the distributor when I had to leave the project. That’s when I ran out of time and never found out why. Now I’m moving and can’t take it with me.
