KRK Sr.
I am looking for a shop to re-porcelainize the exhaust manifold on my 1926 Wills Ste. Claire T-6 Cab. Roadster. My manifold has lost all of the porcelain from the center 3 cylinders and still looks like new at the outer cylinder ends.Has anyone had good results with any of the shops that advertise in Hemmings? How does it hold up? How long has it been since yours were done, both time and miles. Has anyone been using the car for touring afterwards with good results and little or no cracking or peeling. If the car is used for show only vs touring will cracking not be a re-occuring problem? Thanks for your input. KRK Sr.
Guest imported_oldmitchell
I believe the last set I had done were by Praireview Restorations. Cracking will be a problem on any car. It is the heat/cold cycling that cracks them. On my next set I am going to have the inside jethot coated to see if that helps.
