supercargirl
According to the La Sagrera factory in Barcelona, the Hispano chassis 8101 was produced there in 1929; the car test was conducted in April 1929. At the beginning of the 80s Hispano chassis 8101 was found by Mr. Emilio Fernández Arias at the Madrid School of Agricultural Engineers workshops. It lacked a body, but the chassis and mechanical components were in perfect condition because it had been restored by its current owner, Mr. Enrique Jiménez Girón. Mr. Emilio Fernández purchased the car from Mr. Jiménez and completed the restoration and a new body, built from factory blueprints, was installed. The body was made as a replica of an original T49 with extreme care to keep all production methods used in the factory at that period. The chassis and the engine are matching numbers and original to the car. It was featured in the Spanish film Belle Epoque. Located in Spain.
