Terry Bond
What can you tell me about these early prints? They were included in issues of Motor Magazine and intended to be removed and framed. There is nothing printed on the back of them ( an early version of the "centerfold" without the fold and no staples in the bumpers.) I've been told they were done for just one year but they seem to run over a period of two years between 1907 and 1908 according to the dates printed on them. The prints are copies of early lithographs popular at the time, some done by well known artists like Meunier and Montaut. I actually have full-sized lithographs of some of them, but these smaller versions are great and take up a lot less wall space. I bought a group of four not long ago, and have four others. So-was curious to know what year(s) they were included in the magazines, and what other prints I need to try and find to complete the set (whatever that consists of). Do you have any?
